Donna Gaylord  is a Charter Member of the Colored Pencil Society America. She has achieved her signature status and earned her five-year recognition award. In the 1998 exhibition she won the CPSA’s highest award, the CIPPY. She is currently President of the CPSA Phoenix Chapter.

Donna has both a Bachelor of Fine Art Degree and a Master of Fine Art Degree from the University of Colorado.  Her works have been published in two books about colored pencil art: her pen and ink renderings have won many awards.   Her recent works reflect her knowledge of the Sonoran Desert.  Images for her drawings are taken from nature’s plant and animal world.
